An afternoon reception with Tom Hayden, Anita Weiss, Gwynn Kirk, and Jim Page will be held on March 5th from 2:00 -3:30 p.m. at Cosmic Pizza, located at 8th and Charleton in Eugene. All are welcome to come and meet the presenters before the Peace Symposium at Lane Community College.
Suggested donation for the symposium and reception is $10. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds go directly to support the work of the Lane Peace Center.
The Lane Peace Center is founded on the understanding that peace is rooted in social, economic, political, racial and environmental justice.

TOM HAYDEN: Civil Rights Freedom Rider, Co-founder of Students for a Democratic Society, California legislator for 18 years, current Professor of Legal Studies at Scripps College in Claremont, contributor to the Nation magazine, and author. His most recent book is The Long Sixties: From 1960 to Barack Obama.
